🌿 Detailed Review of Nhà Của ToToRo Café (Khu Vườn Mơ – Da Lat)
I’ve visited the café three times, and each time it gave me a very special, peaceful, and relaxing feeling. This is truly one of my favorite cafés in Da Lat.
Đà Lạt always finds a way to bring me back—not just for its pleasant climate, but also for its ever-refreshing destinations. One of those is Dapa Hill, a tourist spot that once went viral for its Northwestern Vietnam-inspired style nestled in the heart of the Central Highlands. I’ve visited a few times—from its bustling early days to the quieter recent visits—and here are my honest thoughts after those trips.
Dapa Hill is located in Tà Nung commune, about 18 km from downtown Đà Lạt. The road there is quite scenic—you’ll pass through the Tà Nung Pass, with layered mountain views and peaceful forest vibes. If you’ve ever been to Mê Linh Coffee, Dapa Hill is just 300 meters away from it.
When I first visited Dapa Hill (late 2023), I was genuinely impressed. The entire site was styled like a traditional Northwestern village—with wooden stilt houses, water wheels, rice mills, flower gardens, and small fields. There were tons of Instagrammable corners—from mini castles and log cabins to windmills and a bridge over a koi pond.
The air here is cool and refreshing—Tà Nung’s signature. Especially if you come in the early morning, the light mist over the pine-covered hills in the back makes for a dreamy setting.
The highlight at the time was the Air Slide dry tube slide—a unique game not commonly found in other Đà Lạt attractions. Kids loved it, and even adults like me found it fun.
Dapa Hill also features a small petting zoo with sheep, goats, rabbits, ponies, etc. You can feed them, take photos, and enjoy the nature-friendly vibe.
However, during recent visits (2024 – early 2025), I felt a bit disappointed. Dapa Hill seems to have lost some of its initial charm and care:
Current ticket prices:
The price includes the Air Slide and access to the grounds, but does not cover extra services like costume rental, makeup, or small kids’ games.
In my opinion, the ticket is a bit expensive for what you get now. If you’re going with a big group or have kids, it could still be fun. But if you’re only visiting for photo spots, you might feel a bit underwhelmed.
If you’ve never been to Dapa Hill, and enjoy the Northwestern aesthetic and discovering new places, it might be worth visiting once. But if you’ve already been and are expecting a polished, exciting experience, you might want to wait until the place gets a proper revamp.
Dapa Hill was once a bright spot among Đà Lạt's many tourist areas, but unfortunately, it hasn’t maintained its original quality. Hopefully, it will receive the care it needs in the near future—because with its natural setting and large space, Dapa Hill definitely has the potential to become an even more impressive destination.
I’ve visited the café three times, and each time it gave me a very special, peaceful, and relaxing feeling. This is truly one of my favorite cafés in Da Lat.
If you’re looking for a place that has “a bit of everything” right in the heart of Da Lat’s mountains and nature, then LangBiang Land is definitely a spot you shouldn’t miss. Although it’s a newly opened tourist destination, it’s incredibly popular – and based on my experience (I’ve been there three times), I was satisfied every single time.
Cơm Bếp Củi used to be one of my favorite rice restaurants in Đà Lạt. Up to now, I’ve eaten here more than five times – enough to notice the restaurant’s clear changes over time.
