Review Horizon Coffee - BBQ Da Lat – Chill in the forest, great view, affordable food

🌄 Location & Atmosphere – Where clouds embrace the mountains

Horizon Village is located on Hung Vuong Street, about 4km from Dalat city center. It’s an ideal stop to enjoy pine forests, hunt for clouds, and breathe in the fresh highland air.

The space is open, filled with greenery, and harmoniously designed to blend with nature. I visited during the day to have coffee and dinner – the pine forest view was decent, especially in the morning, which I imagine would be even more beautiful. However, in the afternoon and evening, the view is less impressive due to low lighting and thinning clouds.

☕ Horizon Café – Beautiful, chill, and worth returning

The café inside is thoughtfully designed with lots of Instagrammable corners like swings, outdoor wooden tables, and flowers. The space is spacious, breezy, and extremely chill. I was really satisfied with the coffee here – it tasted great, was well-presented, and reasonably priced.

If you enjoy “cloud hunting” and panoramic views of pine forests, I recommend coming in the morning for the best lighting and scenery.

🍽 Dinner – Cheap, generous portions but not outstanding

I had dinner here. The menu was simple and the food was okay – nothing too special, but affordable and plentiful. It’s suitable if you’re not expecting gourmet dishes and just want a satisfying meal in a natural setting.

One downside was the pool table area – the table wasn’t very clean and the felt was old and worn, which affected the experience. I hope they’ll improve this in the future.

👥 Service – Friendly, welcoming staff

What impressed me was the service attitude – all the staff were friendly, cheerful, and very helpful. Even when the place was crowded, they remained calm and pleasant.

• Delicious coffee and beautiful pine forest views (especially in the morning)
• Friendly, pleasant staff
• Reasonable prices, generous food portions

❌ Cons:

• The view is not as nice in the afternoon or evening
• Food is okay but not very memorable
• Pool table area needs better maintenance and cleaning

Horizon Village is worth a visit if you’re looking for a peaceful, nature-friendly space not too far from the city center. Even though I only came for coffee and dinner, I was quite satisfied. I’ll definitely come back in the morning to fully enjoy the scenery.
