🧐 Tried to Visit but No Sign of the Restaurant

I tried to visit Com Niêu Gà Hồng Sơn 2 using Google Maps, hoping to enjoy a traditional rice meal in Da Lat. However, when I arrived at the listed address 30 Hùng Vương Street, Ward 9, there was no sign of the restaurant.

I also tried calling the number listed online, but no one answered. It’s likely that the restaurant has either shut down or relocated without updating its information on search platforms.

🚗 Parking Troubles and Unfriendly Locals

On top of not finding the restaurant, I also had an unpleasant experience with some locals in the area when trying to park.

Several residents wouldn’t let me park near their houses, even though I parked politely without blocking any entrances. One even said “it might break the water pipes”—which sounds unreasonable, as modern piping is typically buried well below thick concrete.

One house had a street front wide enough for two cars to park comfortably, and I parked my car without blocking their gate at all, as their gate was very narrow, only suitable for motorbikes, and far from where I parked. Still, they insisted I move the car, saying it was “their spot.”

I found this frustrating and a bit ridiculous—some people seem to think public roads belong to them personally, when in fact, all public roads are shared spaces under the law. No one has the right to prevent legal parking on them.

💬 My Personal Thoughts

While this was a disappointing experience in the Hùng Vương – Ward 9 area, I still hold a lot of love for the people of Da Lat. This may have been just an isolated incident.

If Com Niêu Gà Hồng Sơn 2 is still in business, I hope the owner updates their address and contact info on Google or social media so that others don’t go through the same inconvenience.
