[REAL REVIEW] Fat Cat World Dalat – Try Once and That's It!

✍️ Introduction

I visited Fat Cat World Dalat on July 5, 2025 as part of my travel diary project. This time, I returned to Dalat to explore some new places that I saw being highly recommended by TikTokers.

And the result was... oh my, quite disappointing.

🅿️ Parking: Small and inconvenient

The first impression wasn't great. The parking lot is small and located on a sloped mountain road. Luckily it wasn’t crowded that day, otherwise I wouldn't have known where to park. Definitely a concern during weekends.

🎢 Grass sliding in a tube – Pretty intense

Right at the entrance, I was invited to try a grass slide through a downhill tube. It was thrilling for sure, but also a bit risky. I did it once and decided that once was enough 😅.

🐾 Animal zone & typical smells

The site features various animals including cats, capybaras, alpacas, raccoons…—fairly diverse. However, just like many small animal parks, there was a distinct animal odor, especially in the capybara area. Not too bad for me, but sensitive visitors should be aware.

🙁 Service & staff

Sadly, the staff were not very attentive. I received little to no guidance upon entry. The layout was a bit confusing and felt more like wandering in a mini zoo than a curated attraction.

📸 Photo zones? Available, but underwhelming

They have a light tunnel and some illusion effects, but nothing too impressive. If you’re expecting top-notch “Instagrammable” spots, you might feel let down.

If you're looking for a relaxing, clean, friendly place with cute animals – then Fat Cat World Dalat might not live up to expectations. However, if you're curious about what TikTok is hyping or want to entertain your kids with something different, it could still be worth one visit.
