🌿 Detailed Review of Nhà Của ToToRo Café (Khu Vườn Mơ – Da Lat)
I’ve visited the café three times, and each time it gave me a very special, peaceful, and relaxing feeling. This is truly one of my favorite cafés in Da Lat.
Xóm Lèo BBQ in Dalat offers grilled food with a sunset view, street music, and local charm. A must-visit destination for food lovers.
Looking for a grilled food restaurant in Dalat that’s tasty, affordable, and has a beautiful view? Xóm Lèo BBQ is a hidden gem for barbecue lovers who want to enjoy great food in the cool mountain air while watching the sunset over Dalat’s valleys. It’s a favorite not only for tourists but also for locals who come to relax in the late afternoons.
Located in the Huỳnh Tấn Phát planned area (Ward 11), the restaurant is about 10km from Dalat’s city center. Perched on a hilltop, it offers a spacious, open-air setting with sweeping views of greenhouses and the famous Thai Phien flower village.
The best time to visit is from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM, so you can catch the sunset while enjoying grilled dishes in the fresh air.
My family has visited this place twice over the span of two years, and each time it still felt fresh and enjoyable. This is one of the best spots in Dalat for both tourists and locals to gather and enjoy grilled food in a cozy outdoor setting.
I went there around 6 PM and it was already quite crowded. So I recommend arriving earlier – around 4:30 to 5 PM – to grab the best seats and avoid the rush.
The venue is spacious and airy, with simple but clean decor. There's a convenient parking area and plenty of room for families or larger groups.
One unique feature that I really appreciate is that the restaurant invites street performers to play music during the evenings. On my last visit, a young artist played the saxophone, and it was a beautiful touch – dining with live music made the evening feel so chill and memorable.
However, most of these performances are short since the artists are self-funded. I genuinely believe that if the restaurant officially hired them to perform longer, the experience would be even better.
Xóm Lèo offers a wide variety of grilled dishes, hot pots, and small plates, with prices ranging from VND 99,000 to 300,000 – perfect for friends or family gatherings. Some standout dishes include:
The food is flavorful and well-seasoned, attractively presented, and service is fast even when it’s busy.
On Google Maps, Xóm Lèo BBQ has received tons of positive feedback:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Delicious food, well-seasoned. Loved the sunset view and the spacious, relaxing environment.”
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “We were lucky to catch a young artist performing live music. Great vibes, good prices, and fast service.”
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Such a chill spot! Perfect in the late afternoon. I’ll definitely be back.”
Honestly, if you're in Dalat and don’t stop by Xóm Lèo BBQ, you’re missing out – unless you’re not into grilled food. The overall experience from food, to view, to the cultural vibe makes this place uniquely Dalat.
→ Scout’s honor, I’ll come back here every time I visit Dalat – and I bet you’ll feel the same after your first time!

Đà Lạt always finds a way to bring me back—not just for its pleasant climate, but also for its ever-refreshing destinations. One of those is Dapa Hill, a tourist spot that once went viral for its Northwestern Vietnam-inspired style nestled in the heart of the Central Highlands. I’ve visited a few times—from its bustling early days to the quieter recent visits—and here are my honest thoughts after those trips.
