Sa Pa
A highland town of terraced rice fields and hill-tribe villages.
Sa Pa sits in Lao Cai province near the northern border. The valleys around it are terraced by H'Mong, Red Dao and Tay communities, with Fansipan, at 3,143 m the highest peak in Vietnam, rising to the west.
